I was off for a day that day. Taking my sweet time of holiday at home in conjuction with the celebration of Christmas. My parents werent at home, as that day was the working day. I expect nothing special on that day when suddenly Mr. Postman came and handed me a PARCEL!!!
Yeeeaaahhh, the 'thing' that i've been waiting for!

Jeng jeng jenggggg....

Errr....!

Yukata yeay!!!!!!
What is Yukata?
Yukata (浴衣, Yukata?) is a Japanese summer garment. People wearing yukata are a common sight at fireworks displays, bon-odori festivals, and other summer events. The yukata is a casual form of kimono that is also frequently worn after bathing at traditional Japanese inns. Though their use is not limited to after-bath wear, yukata literally means bath(ing) clothes.

My baby sis (actually my bf's baby sis) is studying in Japan, so i asked her to buy me one. Yukata is not actually that difficult to wear, but it needs patience and interest. Especially the 'obi' part. I myself havent completed wearing them, i sweat alot trying to fit the obi like in the manual book, but failed at 1st attempt, or maybe 3rd attempt already.hehe...
Why Yukata??
My great grandmother was a Japanese..yeah, i just knew it after my grandad died, that was 10 years ago. But actually i wondered, why my aunts and uncle look so fair and have the eye like chinese. Now i know..Since then i've done quite a number of research on Japanese culture, eventhough i dont sing japanese song, i dont watch japanese movie like other fanatic fan, but deep down inside i do have the curious feelings. For a start, i'll keep the yukata as a heritage. Maybe i'll buy more yukata after this. If the baby sis of mine could offer herself again..hahaha.
Mane gambar dengan Yukata?? Er......wait till i pass the obi part... ;)
