My Masterpiece

For now i think this is the best picture of momot i can potray. This picture was taken when momot had her luxurious time in my dad's flower pot. Since that i havent took any of momot's picture after being the KKU (kucing kurang upaya), this is what i think is the best shot i have. I lovvveee photography, the weakness point in my skill is my ability to take human's photography. shutter speed, ISO, movement..static..abstract. I'm still lack of these skills..I hope that i can join saiful nang's venture, learning while trying..in that case i need a DSLR camera instead..and for that i should spare around 4000 bucks?? think twice..huhu.

my olympus sp500 is still in her best condition...what it takes is to godek2 and try not to give up.

Baaaaadddddd Monkey...Sit!

Thaipusam holiday went by with an accident i didnt expect to happen. I asked my dad and mum to go to the paya bakau park in the evening since we havent gone there for maybe about 2 years. Nama je orang tempatan, tapi malas nak bergerak. The paya bakau park is renowned for its bakau tree and also alllooootttt of monkeys you can find there, any sizes (dari datuk, nenek, moyang, bapak, mak, dan adik-adik kecilnya...).

Being a good human being and also an animal lover, we brought 2 loaves of bread incase they got hungry and teringin nak makan roti..hehe. Arrived there at 6.30pm, i saw alot of people hanging around, i mean...real people, not the monkey.

up right corner..mcm penunggu jeh..

they might look cute and adorable..
But look what they have done to my leg!

the wound..after couple of days
One of them actually bite me! It happened after being a good citizen, when i picked up the left overs on the ground. Depa ni ingat aku 'tehingin sangat' roti depa tu. 4 or maybe 5 of them came and main acah-acah with me, while i was screaming like hell thinking they might climb up on me. Who could have guess when actually one of them wanna bite me? Nasib baik pakai jeans, luka tak dalam sangat. Nak masuk park tu pon tak boleh..boleh bayang tak?
My dad ended up we leave that place immediately...went to a nearby clinic..takut plak dapat kancing gigi. tak ke susah.. My mom made a statement "kamu tu montok sangat..dia geram la tu..". Apekah???
Sejak itu aku mengganggap mereka tak comel..Bolehkah begitu???

Something to Share

I was reading Ahad Metro and found this 2 links that i find very very interesting. Gee..i've used the word very very in the previous entry too..One is the story on an 8 year old girl who can create her school's website and publish it to the world..owh my, i feel ashamed..not that i feel pity for that girl, it's just i'm embarrased with myself for not being that creative like her. Well although the design is simple, but who will expect an 8 year girl can create such website? The subject is only taught at secondary and uni level??I hope she can be a great webmaster in the future. Most of the talents in IT come from India. Have a peek here

Another link is related to Japan..Yeah, i cant get the Japan thing out of my heart. You see, or have you watched 'Memoirs of geisha' starring Zhang Zi Yi? Yeah, it's a geisha story..Whether you believe it or not, this particular geisha owned a blog! yeah! that's rite...she in the cyber world!

Unfortunately the blog is written in nihonggo. I barely cant understand a word. Maybe i might have to attend Japanese language in order to understand what's inside the blog.hehe...You can learn and understand a life of a geisha when a really true giesha shares her life in blog. It can be quite interesting though..Have a peek here

ps: Several days before he left US. And maybe 2 weeks before he steps his foot on his homeland, Malaysia! Cant wait....yeah i really really cant wait.

Useful Tips

As i gone thru the web for some info on my Tourist Information Center, i come across this article that i think is 100% very very useful for you guys who love to go jungle trekking and camping in the rainforest. I've never been into the jungle before, except for camping at school..haha. I guess the cadet experience gave me much description how to live in the wild. With mosquitos... :)

BE REALISTIC: You are lost. The worst thing you can do is to wander around and tire yourself. Assess your situation. Ask yourself what you need to do today, right now, to survive and how long the food you have will last.Prioritising and doing the most important chores first will save you. If night is falling, looking for shelter immediately would be your priority.

GO WITH THE FLOW: Chances of survival in the rainforest is better than anywhere else. Our forest is mostly damp and plants are soaked with dew in the mornings. Collect dew and rainwater with large leaves. Water from small streams are usually safe to drink. Also remember, the smallest trickle always strings itself to a bigger waterway. Go with the flow and you’d usually end up near a river – and human settlement.

PACK SMART, NOT MORE: When packing, always give some thought to “what if I’m lost” essentials. Keep survival items in a waist pouch and never leave camp without it. Below are must-haves in your survival kit. Collectively they should not weigh more than 1kg.

1. Carry at least three fire starters – Vaseline soaked cotton balls, magnifying glass and cigarette lighter.
2. A small bottle of iodine to disinfect water. Use one small drop for every litre.
3. A few zip-lock bags for holding water.
4. Dental floss (100m). It’s a light, tough string with many uses.
5. Mini flashlight.
6. Heavy duty garbage bag. It makes a great raincoat and waterproof shelter. You can also use it to collect rainwater.
7. All purpose knife made of carbon-steel that can throw sparks when struck on granite.
8. A bottle of antibiotic ointment.
9. Some energy bars.
10. A whistle to draw attention.

GO AU NATURAL: Although it’s not easy to find natural resources dry enough to start a fire in the damp forest, some resins, like the keruing trees, and bark strips are good fire starters. Look out for natural shelters.Young Leonard Hendrik and Milos Johed, who got lost in 2005 in Bau, Sarawak, made a cave their home for two nights before they were found. Observe what animals, especially monkeys, in the forest eat. Whatever they can eat is most probably good for you too.

DRAW ATTENTION: Break off branches at eye-level, five feet above the ground along the path to help rescue team track you down. You can also leave heaps of stones, piles of branches or leaves for the same purpose. A whistle never fails to draw attention and its piercing shrill can echo far. When making a smoke signal, you get more smoke by adding leaves to the fire. Understand that from the air you’ll be a tiny dot. Find an open spot where the plume can rise beyond the forest canopy. Caveat: Take care not to start a forest fire and thus put yourself in danger.

GET ALONG WITH THE WILDLIFE: Walking around the rainforest is not like walking through the carnivorous exhibit’s cage in the zoo. So if you’re worried about stumbling on a hungry beast, it won’t happen.Firstly, the jungle is too dense for you to see anything. A camouflaged flying fox can fly pass you in a blink. Secondly, your human scent is alien and will make them run away before you see them. If they don’t, they’re probably females defending babies or their nest. So do give way to a nursing mum.

J***** Mode...ehek.

I just love balad songs from nsync. Dunno why it's like terbuai-buai gitu. apart from that i like some songs from 98 degrees too. I dont understand why Malaysian's boy bands dont have that kind of melodic and touching elements in their songs except for some of KRU songs. Here is one of my fav.

That's when I'll stop loving you (by Nsync)

When Winter comes in Summer (hmm)
When there's no more forever (hey, yeah)
That's when I'll stop loving you(that's when I'll stop loving you)
That's when I'll stop loving you
I'm sure you've heard these words before
And I know it's hard for you to trust them once more
You're afraid it all might end
And your broken heart is scared of breaking again
But you've gotta believe me
I'll never leave you
You'll never cry unless I am there
And I will always be there
You will never be without, no

When Winter comes in Summer
When there's no more forever
When lies become the truth
Oh, you know then baby
That's when I'll stop loving
That's when I'll stop loving you
That's when I'll stop loving you, yeah

Long as sunlight lights the sky
The light of love will be
Found in these eyes of mine (these eyes of mine)
And I will shine that light for you
You're the only one
That'll hear this heart too
What I'm trying to say is (to say)
Nothing will change this (aah)
There'll be no time you won't find me there
'Cause I will always be there
You will always have all my love

When Winter comes in Summer
When there's no more forever (yeah, yeah)
When lies become the truth (oh, oh)
Well you know then baby
That's when I'll stop loving
That's when I'll stop loving you (you)
That's when I'll stop loving you

When this world doesn't turn anymore
When the stars all decide to stop shining
Till then I'm gonna be by your side
I'm gonna be loving you forever
Every day of my life

I'll be there Oh, yeah
Well you know then baby
That's when I'll stop loving
That's when I'll stop loving
That's when I'll stop loving you

When Winter comes in Summer
When there's no more forever
When lies become the truth (become truth, yeah)
Well you know then baby
That's when I'll stop loving
That's when I'll stop loving you (oh yeah)

When Winter comes in Summer
When there's no more forever (forever)
When lies become the truthWell you know then baby
That's when I'll stop loving
That's when I'll stop loving you
OohThat's when I'll stop babe
I'll stop babe, loving you

If 'someone' just dedicate this kind of song to me, only God knows how my heart kembang sekembang-kembangnye.. LOL!!!
